 There have been some attempts to collect all drivers who emerged racing drivers professionally, who also play or have played LFS back then. Latest thread on the forums: https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/101215. There were also some mentions over on Discord over the years. We could have an article here that collects all these drivers, maybe in a neat table with fields for: name, racing genre (formula? touring car? truck racing? drift?), major achievements (champ titles), major championships they participated in, active years in LFS (interval, if known), lfs username (if known), DriverDB link (if driver is present there), source (LFS forum thread/post, any kind of news article mentioning them playing LFS, etc.).

 Not sure what's the best / most convenient way of getting all country flags onto our shared repository, but those could be used for drivers for example on [[LFS players in real life motorsports]] and specific league articles. Maciek's idea was to use the LFS country flag icons, as we already have those (on URL <code><nowiki>https://img.lfs.net/flagpics_tiny/Germany.gif</nowiki></code>). We could have a template similar to enwiki's [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Flag_icon Flag icon template], and directly link those flag .gifs from img.lfs.net. The problem is, seemingly the linking of images from external sources is disabled (as it should be). However, there is a MediaWiki config option, where specific domains can be whitelisted ([https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgAllowExternalImagesFrom $wgAllowExternalImagesFrom]). We as users (probably) can't change the configuration, so we would need Victor's or other devs' help for this to work. Still thought it's worth having here as a proposal, for some time in the future.

We can upload a single image sprite with all flags in one and the template would map each country code to a set of XY coordinates which would be used to display the flag as a background image of an element.
