The SyN FBM GP Championship is a biweekly racing series hosted by Team Synoris (SyN). The championship features Formula BMW (FBM) cars competing on the Blackwood circuit variations.
Current General Structure

- Frequency: Biweekly, alternating between Blackwood circuit variations (BL1 and BL2)
- Event Timing: Sundays, starting at 14:00 CET
- Race Length: 40 laps
Qualifications
The championship includes an open qualification system to determine the starting grid for each race. A 15-minute qualifying session is held before the main event, with 12 slots available for competitors.
Race Rules
Each race consists of 40 laps and includes a mandatory pit stop. Participants are expected to adhere to the Rules of Clean Racing.
Championship Points Scoring System
For rounds 1 and 2 of the 2024 season a scoring system based on old rules was applied.

Old Structure
Old rules have been superseded and the old scoring system was applied only for round 1 and 2 of SyN FBM GP Championship 2024.
The SyN FBM GP Championship was initially based on monthly FBM races on the Blackwood circuit (BL1 and BL2). Each event of the GP Championship required registration: registration was free and open to everyone. Among the registered drivers, the top 10 scoring ones from the SyN Cup ranking (!champ ranking from [SyN] FBM Stamina and [SyN] FBM Sprint hosts) were eligible to participate. There were no qualifications as the grid was based on the [SyN] Cup ranking. Pit stop was not mandatory and the race length was set to 65 laps. Rules of the SyN FBM GP Championship have been updated starting from race 3 to attract more participants and provide a more inclusive and competitive racing environment.
