MRc GTR Monday is a weekly single event series, using GTR and NGT cars. The league is run by Master Race car (MRc). Its inaugural season was held in 2020. MRc GTR Monday is held on Monday evenings. Although it's a seasonal league with its own standings, it's a free and ready-to-race type league: no need of signing up and committing to a whole scheduled season.
Format and Rules
There was a 80-lap pre-season practice race held on December 30, 2019 on SO1.
The event is held in the evenings (Europe) of Monday. The server is password protected before the free practice starts. You can find the server password in the round info thread. As its name suggests, the GTR and NGT cars are used, in a rotation: GT1/GT2/GT3/NGT/GT1 and so on repeating. The schedule had fixed tracks for rounds 1, 6, 11, 16, 19 and 20, when the race was broadcasted by Sim Broadcasts as well. Tracks for rounds not mentioned were picked by the winner of the previous race. There are no starting numbers, no skin requirements or any special in-game name requirements. The event had active Race Directing, meaning drivers had to connect to the New Dimension Racing TeamSpeak server and listen to the Race Director.
Free Practice
Usually starts at 18:00 UTC, is a 20 minutes open practice. During the FP, there is a VSC deployment test and at the end, a practice start test including the formation lap.
Qualifying
Qualifying starts 18:30 UTC, and is a 20 minutes open Qualifying session. Since it's fully open, telepitting/spectating/rejoining is allowed.
Race
Races start at 19:00 UTC. Races have a distance specified by the organizer, in lap count (races take approx. 1h 20m). There is a formation lap and a rolling start. The race starts with the green flag message, overtaking is permitted from the green flag. Pitstops during the race are not required. Spectating is only allowed with Race Director's permission. Safety Car and Virtual Safety Car is available. On SC restart leader controls the pace. Overtaking is allowed after the car in question (every car to their own) crosses the S/F line. VSC speed is 80 km/h. Pitstops are not required. Like in every race, the document of Rules of Clean Racing should be followed.
