Dashboard editor is a feature of the Vehicle Editor used to customize the dashboard of the vehicle mod. You can place various analog or digital gauges and light indicators.

Dashboard lights
Light Name Description
LFS Editor - handbrake light.png Handbrake Shown when the handbrake is engaged. It is also shown when the car is placed onto the grid, even if handbrake is disallowed in the Allow tab.
LFS Editor - shift light.png Shift light Shown when it is the optimal time to shift up to a higher gear. This depends on the torque curve, which can be adjusted in the engine editor.
To use this light, go to the Vehicle Editor and enable the shift light option in Transmission / Audio tab.
LFS Editor - engine damage light.png Engine damage Shown when the engine power is reduced due to over-revving the engine. If the engine damage is lower than 3%, this light is shown in yellow color. Higher engine damage results in a red light.
To use this light, go to the Vehicle Editor and enable the engine damage light option in Transmission / Audio tab.
LFS Editor - traction control light.png Traction control Shown when the traction control is active (car has lost traction) or when traction control is disabled in car's setup.
To use this light, go to the Vehicle Editor and enable the traction control option in Transmission / Audio tab.
LFS Editor - ABS light.png ABS Shown when the ABS is active (car's wheels are locked) or when ABS is disabled in car's setup.
To use this light, go to the Vehicle Editor and enable the ABS option in Allow tab.
LFS Editor - pit limiter light.png Pit limiter Shown when pit speed limiter is active.
To use this light, go to the Vehicle Editor and enable the pit speed limiter option in Allow tab.
LFS Editor - high beam light.png High beam Shown when high beam is on.
To use this light, the 3D model of the vehicle must contain triangles using a special light color mapping l_side, l_head or l_full.
LFS Editor - low beam light.png Low beam Shown when low beam is on.
To use this light, the 3D model of the vehicle must contain triangles using a special light color mapping l_side, l_head or l_full.
LFS Editor - sidelights.png Sidelights Shown when sidelights are on.
To use this light, the 3D model of the vehicle must contain triangles using a special light color mapping l_side, l_head or l_full.
