  • 2003 – The real MRT5 car was introduced in Live for Speed version S1 version 0.3E.
  • 2008 – A planned release of the new Volkswagen Scirocco in Live for Speed was postponed until early 2009, because it turned out to be impossible to reach the required standard in the time available.
