Template documentation
This is a documentation subpage for Template:Car.
It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original page. |
This template has been replaced by Template:Infobox car. Please do not use this template. |
This template is used for inserting a specsheet of cars. Examples can be seen on pages XF GTI and MRc E-Challenge. The template supports both official LFS cars and vehicle mods, also both internal combustion engines and electric vehicles (fuel tank capacity in ltr vs. battery capacity in kWh).
Parameters
- mod: is it a vehicle mod or not (therefore an official car)? If not specified, it is an official LFS car. You have to input one of the following: yes / no
- Longname: full vehicle name
- Shortname: short name of the car. In case of official cars, it is the abbreviation (FXR), in case of vehicle mods, it is the Mod ID (FA2989). This automatically becomes a link to the car page (either official car page or vehicle mod page).
- Image: file name of the image of the car. Appears as a thumbnail on the right edge of the article.
- Drive: drive
- Engine: engine type
- kWPower: power in kW
- bhpPower: power in bhp
- PowerRPM: RPM, at which the engine outputs the previously specified power
- NmTorque: torque in Nm
- lbftTorque: torque in lbft
- TorqueRPM: RPM, at which the engine outputs the previously specified torque
- kgMass: total mass in kg
- lbsMass: total mass in lbs
- WRatio: power/weight ratio in W/kg
- bhpRatio: power/weight ratio in bhp/ton
- WeightDist: weight distribution, at front and at the rear. Format: 42 F 58 R
- Fuel: capacity of the fuel tank or the battery. Format: 57
- fuelUnit: if set to "kWh", the previous Fuel field will appear as "Battery capacity 57 kWh" in the resulting table. If set to anything else or is not specified, Fuel field will appear as "Fuel tank capacity 57 ltr" in the resulting table. Format: kWh
- FrontSusp: front suspension type
- RearSusp: rear suspension type
- Information: general information about the car
- Setuptip: general tips to adjust the setup of the car

Information
Based upon a Formula E Gen 2 racecar, this electric vehicle brings a new fresh air into Live for Speed. With 250 kW of power, instant max. torque starting at 0 RPM, no downforce wings and low grip tyres, this beast is very challenging to drive. Just like the original vehicle it is made for dancing between the walls of tight and twisty street circuits. Not very suitable for high speed tracks though.
Setup tip
Low pressure is the only way to get some grip and heat into the tyres. Due to regenerative braking the brake balance is slightly difficult to get right.
