Vehicle Mods

Triangle mode (or 'tri' mode) is an editing mode in the modeller, a part of the LFS Editor. In this mode you can select, delete and modify triangles of the 3D model of your vehicle mod and assign texture maps to the triangles.

Entering the triangle mode

  1. 1 Open the modeller.
  2. 2 Click the tri button at the top left or press 2.

List of colours

The list of colours at the bottom left is a different view of the list of mappings in map mode.

When you select a triangle, its colour is selected in the bottom left list. If the list is long, click cols : X to bring the selected colour onto screen.

Selecting triangles

  • Ctrl + LMB adds or removes triangles from the selection.
  • Alt + LMB starts a new selection (one triangle).
  • In the special view modes (like groups or mappings) the group select feature (Ctrl + ⇧ Shift + click) does a flood select within the group.
