Introduction

The Pit LAne packet is sent by LFS when a player enters or leaves the pit lane.

Packet Details

Size

The size of the packet is always 8 bytes.

Type

The packet type from the ISP_ enumeration, always ISP_PLA.

ReqI

ReqI is always equal to zero.

PLID

The player's unique ID.

Fact

One of the values from the PITLANE_ enumeration:

  • PITLANE_EXIT: Exited the pit lane
  • PITLANE_ENTER: Entered the pit lane
  • PITLANE_NO_PURPOSE: Entered the pit lane for no purpose
  • PITLANE_DT: Entered the pit lane for a drive-through penalty
  • PITLANE_SG: Entered the pit lane for a stop-go penalty

Notes

This packet is sent with some delay, likely to prevent cheating from players that would abuse this packet to disable the pit speed limiter at the perfect timing.

This packet is not sent on layouts that do not use an official pit lane.
